Frequently asked questions

Short answers about buying, paying for, delivering, returning and the warranty on SWEPCORE machines, and about choosing a scrubber dryer, vacuum cleaner or sweeper.

Buying and payment

Can I buy a machine from the SWEPCORE shop without creating an account?

Yes. You can order as a guest, without registering or logging in - an account in the shop is free and optional. The order requires your name, delivery address, email address and telephone number, and for a business purchase also the company name and tax ID (NIP).

How do I pay for an order in the SWEPCORE shop?

By bank transfer to the SWEPCORE account, in advance (prepayment). The account number is sent in the email confirming receipt of the order, and the order number goes in the transfer reference. Payment is due within 7 days of placing the order, and the machine is dispatched once the payment has been credited.

Can I buy a cleaning machine in instalments, lease it or rent it?

No. SWEPCORE only sells machines - the shop does not offer instalments, leasing, rental or demonstrations. Every order is paid in advance, before dispatch; there is no cash on delivery and no deferred payment.

Are prices in the SWEPCORE shop net or gross?

Gross - machine prices include 23% VAT. The delivery cost is added on top and is shown, together with the total amount payable, in the basket and in the order summary before the order is placed. Prices are set in Polish zloty; in euro or pounds sterling the shop shows them converted from the zloty price at the exchange rate set in the shop.

Does SWEPCORE issue VAT invoices?

Yes. SWEPCORE is an active VAT payer. Customers who enter a tax ID (NIP) in the order receive a VAT invoice issued in the Polish National e-Invoicing System (KSeF) and a PDF copy by email. Consumers receive a receipt or, on request, a PDF invoice - the request can be entered in the order comments.

Delivery

How long does it take SWEPCORE to dispatch a machine?

SWEPCORE dispatches the machine within 14 business days of the payment being credited. Transit time is added on top; the shop shows it for the selected delivery method in the basket before the order is placed. Machines are shipped from the SWEPCORE warehouse in Grzędzice, Poland.

Does SWEPCORE ship machines abroad?

No. The shop delivers machines only within Poland. The language versions of the shop - English, German, French, Italian, Swedish, Czech and Slovak - are translations of the website, not delivery to those countries.

How is a heavy machine, such as a ride-on scrubber dryer, delivered?

As a pallet shipment - this is how most machines in the range travel, and only smaller goods go by courier. Before a pallet delivery, the seller or the carrier agrees the date with the customer, so a current telephone number must be given in the order. Where the pallet is handed over, unloading and any carrying in are described for the delivery method in the basket. The heaviest machine in the range weighs about 670 kg.

What should I do if the machine arrives damaged in transit?

Write up a damage report with the carrier, take photos and notify SWEPCORE as soon as possible. Damage that was not visible on delivery is best reported within 7 days. A business buying for professional purposes describes visible damage in the report before accepting the shipment and reports hidden damage by email with photos within 3 days of delivery; for consumers the report is a recommendation, not a condition of a complaint.

Does SWEPCORE take back an old machine when delivering a new one?

Yes, free of charge and at the place of delivery, on a 1:1 basis: a used scrubber dryer for a new scrubber dryer, a used vacuum cleaner for a new vacuum cleaner, including other brands, up to the number of units bought. The take-back is requested before delivery in the order comments or by email, stating the type of equipment, the number of units and the approximate weight. If you do not request it in advance, you can do so within 14 days of delivery.

Returns and withdrawal from the contract

Can a machine bought from the SWEPCORE shop be returned within 14 days?

Yes, if the buyer is a consumer or a sole trader with consumer rights (a sole trader buying for non-professional purposes). They have 14 days from taking possession of the machine to withdraw from the contract without giving a reason - it is enough to send a statement within that time, for example by email or letter. SWEPCORE refunds the payments, including the cheapest standard delivery, within 14 days of receiving the statement, but may wait for the machine or proof that it has been sent back.

Who pays for sending the machine back on a return, and how much does it cost?

The buyer. SWEPCORE estimates the cost of sending back a machine on a pallet at a maximum of about PLN 2,100 including VAT per machine - this is what it may cost to send back the largest machine in the range from the furthest point in Poland, including the pallet and shipment insurance. Sending back smaller machines costs less, and lighter goods sent by courier can be returned as an ordinary courier parcel.

Can a business withdraw from a contract to buy a machine?

No, if the purchase is professional for it - a business, such as a company, has no statutory right to withdraw from a distance contract. A sole trader for whom the purchase is not professional has 14 days, like a consumer; this can be indicated at the latest when buying, most simply in the order comments field. In case of doubt, SWEPCORE treats the buyer as a sole trader with consumer rights.

Warranty and complaints

What warranty do SWEPCORE machines have?

A 12-month SWEPCORE warranty, counted from the day the machine is handed over. The guarantor is the seller, warranty repairs are carried out by the SWEPCORE service, and the warranty applies to every buyer, including businesses, within Poland. Repair or replacement under the warranty is free of charge for the customer.

How does the SWEPCORE warranty differ from a complaint about lack of conformity of the goods with the contract?

The SWEPCORE warranty (12 months) applies to every buyer. Independently of it, towards consumers and sole traders with consumer rights SWEPCORE is liable by law for lack of conformity that becomes apparent within 2 years of delivery - they can demand repair or replacement and, in cases set out in the law, a price reduction or withdrawal. For businesses buying professionally, statutory liability for defects is excluded (except for fraudulently concealed defects) - the warranty remains.

How do I make a complaint about a machine bought from SWEPCORE?

By email, by letter to SWEPCORE PIOTR WOJTKIEWICZ, ul. Przedwiośnie 4F, 73-110 Grzędzice, Poland, or through the shop's contact form. It helps to give the order number, the machine model, a description of the problem with photos or a video and the address where the machine is; a missing receipt or invoice is not a reason to refuse. A consumer does not arrange or pay for transport of the machine, even on a pallet - SWEPCORE collects it at its own cost.

Choosing a machine

Which cleaning machines does SWEPCORE offer?

What is the difference between a scrubber dryer and a sweeper?

A scrubber dryer washes the floor: it applies water, scrubs with a brush and immediately picks up the dirty water with a squeegee into a separate tank. A sweeper sweeps dirt with brushes into a waste hopper and suits, among other places, car parks, petrol stations and warehouses. SWEPCORE offers 4 sweepers: the manual U90 without a motor (55 l hopper), the battery-powered S2PRO Mist with spraying that reduces dust, and the combustion-engine Brava 800 HT and Atom H Plus.

Wet and dry, if besides dust you also need to pick up water, mud or other liquids; dry, if you only clean up dust and fine particles. At SWEPCORE 9 of the 17 vacuum cleaners work wet and dry (e.g. the Dakota 303 E with a 35 l tank), 4 are for dry dirt (e.g. the Ufo Dry for offices and hotels), 2 are carpet and upholstery extractors (Lava, Storm), and 2 are specialist: the Panda for bakeries and the SWEPCORE 3 Flow for dust.

Are batteries and a charger included in the price of a scrubber dryer?

The Baby 35 Plus Li has a 24 V / 40 Ah lithium-ion battery, runs for 2-2.5 h, is designed for 1500-2000 cycles and can also run on mains power. The working width (345 mm), theoretical capacity (1240 m2/h) and tanks (15 l and 16 l) are the same in both.
